Leo Bear-McGuinness

Working within the agency’s content team, Leo develops a range of written materials designed to communicate complex ideas in a way that is both accessible and impactful for clients across the life sciences sector.

Leo brings a strong background in science journalism and science communication. Before joining ramarketing, he worked as a science writer and editor at Technology Networks, reporting on emerging environmental and food-related research while also managing freelance contributors, producing eBooks and custom content, and supporting wider editorial strategy. Prior to this, he spent several years at Analytical Cannabis as a writer and editor, covering scientific and policy developments across the cannabis and hemp sectors in Europe and North America.

Alongside his in-house roles, Leo has written for publications including WIRED UK, BBC Worklife, Business Insider and Chemistry World, and has created educational content for TED-Ed and SciShow. With an MSc in Science Communication and Public Engagement and a BSc in Biology, he combines scientific understanding with a strong editorial instinct, helping clients translate technical information into compelling stories that resonate with specialist audiences.
