Tools down. Bottoms up.
4pm Friday means one thing. It’s time to down tools and open the beer fridge. We like our teams to take a moment, have a cold one, reflect on a successful week and get into the weekend spirit.
We give a Fika.
Every other Wednesday, you’ll find us indulging in a bit of Fika. Often translated as ‘a coffee and cake break’, Fika is an extended break all about pausing, taking a break to make time for people, reflecting and having a little chat. Of course, we still involve great coffee and amazing cakes though.
A day away.
Every month, we encourage every team member to take a day away from the business to work on the business. A day to escape the demands of everyday work life, and focus on the one thing you never seem to get around to. Whether it be working on a skill you’ve always wanted to develop, solving a problem that’s been niggling away at you or even just heading somewhere to find some inspiration.
The best way to start the day.
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So we make sure our breakfast bar is fully stocked with fresh fruit, cereals and plenty of tea and coffee to fuel the team. Taking care of the little things so our team can take care of the big things.
Be better than yesterday.
That’s our mantra. And to get better means constantly working on your craft. That’s why we give every team member an individual training budget each year. We also run heaps of internal training sessions so we can learn off our colleagues and upskill.
