Newcastle marketing agency ramarketing has secured its first European client after winning a major  project with the world’s largest B2B medical chewing gum maker.

The agency will be working with Denmark-based manufacturing giant Fertin Pharma on a brand, web development and search engine optimisation project.

As an added bonus to our business, the award-winning ramarketing also recently renewed long-term contracts with several UK, US and Indian-owned pharmaceutical companies.

Now in its fifth year of trading, our company is the region’s current CIPR Outstanding Small Consultancy of the year. This latest contract for our Newcastle PR agency win strengthens our foothold in the pharmaceutical market with the likes of The Specials Laboratory, Juniper Pharma Services and Onyx Scientific as  clients.

With over 600 employees worldwide and a turnover of 90 million Euros, family-owned Fertin Pharma is the largest B2B producer of nicotine chewing gum on the planet. The innovative company hit the headlines last year after developing an immunity boosted chewing gum, which can help guard against the common cold.

Thomas Jahn, senior marketing manager at Fertin Pharma, said: “Based on strong recommendations from our network in the UK, we invited ramarketing to pitch due to their solid reputation in the pharmaceutical sector along with several well-established agencies based here in Denmark.

“We were blown away by ramarketing’s energy, creativity and strategic approach, which made them the ideal partner to help us with this key digital initiative. We are looking forward to working with the team and taking their concepts from design to reality.”

Founded by Raman Sehgal in 2009, ramarketing now operates across a number of sectors including property, technology, finance and leisure. The company prides itself on its transparent approach and its ability to match client needs to consultants with relevant knowledge and industry experience.

The gaffer Raman said: “I’m very pleased to see the business growing on a national and international scale as it ultimately helps bring revenue and job creation to the North-East, which can only be a good thing for our region.

“We are really excited to be working with the team at Fertin Pharma as despite the difference in size between the companies, we share many of the same core values with regards to personality, approach and ethics.

“Although the market has been tough over the last year, our business model is able to provide our clients with a competitive brand communications and PR arm without having to pay a hefty price tag during these challenging economic times. This I believe has been the major driver behind our growth and high client retention rate,” added Raman.

Based in Newcastle, the agency provides a range of services including PR, content creation, search engine optimisation, design and social media. It also works with several charitable organisations and donates a percentage of the business’ profits to local community initiatives in the North-East every year.
