The situtation

Global CDMO Recipharm is one of the five largest pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) in the world, with production facilities in Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, India, and the UK as well as development sites in Sweden, Israel and the United States.

Recipharm provides pharmaceutical companies around the world with tailor-made development and manufacturing services, including a wide variety of drug dosage forms, and inhalation products and devices.

Their comprehensive services cover the entire life cycle of a pharmaceutical product – from drug substance through to commercial manufacturing – to get products to market in a timely and cost-efficient way.

The need

As part of the ongoing work we deliver for Recipharm, the team needed support with their digital footprint. They needed better-optimized content to drive additional traffic to the website for those seeking a full-service CDMO.

What we did

We performed a content analysis to find content that was hidden and poorly optimized. The site structure was improved and landing pages were developed with additional content and keywords to improve their performance in search.

Additional supporting content was then developed for the log sections of the website, and referral traffic and backlinks were acquired through PR activity and content placed in pharmaceutical trade media titles focused on the CDMO landscape.

Implementation involved working closely with Recipharm’s web development agency and briefing documents were created for the changes to be made.
