With the end of another year upon us, here at ramarketing we’ve been doing a bit of reflecting on what a year 2018 has been. The gaffa does this every year… a little Christmas round-up of all the best bits which he sends around to the team to remind us of our achievements. It’s amazing how much you forget. The fast-pace of agency life I guess. So, we thought why not write a blog about it? Share our highlights with friends of ramarketing. So, without further ado, here’s our year in review…

New offices

Earlier this year we opened an office in Manchester, UK, which is now thriving thanks to our lovely team there. Opening another office outside of our HQ was a big (and scary) step for us, but we’re thrilled with how it’s gone.

As if Manchester wasn’t scary enough, we also secured office space in Cambridge/Boston. Our first office outside of the UK. Which is both exciting and terrifying in equal measure. But, we can’t wait to see what having a base across the pond will bring us next year.

We also bid farewell to our little loft above Bealim House and moved into our gorgeous new home in the former site of Campus North… or Rampus North as we like to call it (we’re yet to think of a new name).

Team building

Not in the sense of having a day away (usually followed by a p*ss up). In the literal sense of adding some incredible talent to our team. In the last year we’ve added more smiley new faces to our creative, PR and operations teams. They have settled in like a dream and have already made such an impact on our business. With even more new starters set to join us in the New Year, we can’t wait to see what will happen next!

Doing our bit

Once again, this year we did our bit for our local community. Sharing a percentage of our profits with causes close to our hearts. Not only did we make a major donation to the People’s Kitchen here in Newcastle, who do incredible work to meet the needs of the city’s homeless and vulnerable people, but we also supported the charity initiatives of our team members and offered our time, resource and expertise pro-bono to the Lotus Flower Trust who help fund schools, homes and skill centres in remote areas of India.

Team highlights

Our lovely team also had some amazing personal highlights. With colleagues getting on or moving up the property ladder. Some team members tying the knot and one of our colleagues also moving to Spain (we’re not jealous at all) – proving that you really can work from anywhere, as long as you’ve got a decent WiFi connection.

World-class work

We’re also super proud of the work we’ve delivered for clients in 2018. From beautiful websites and brand design projects to kick-ass PR campaigns, our team have worked incredibly hard and delivered some amazing results for clients this year. We can’t wait to go bigger and better next year!

It’s safe to say, we can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store for us.

So, I guess all that is left to do is wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
